Brand: Fiserv (formerly First Data) is a leading global fintech and payments company with solutions for banking, global commerce, merchant acquiring, payments, and point-of-sale
Brief: rebrand the payment portal from FirstData to Fiserv and refresh of the portal’s interface, enhancing UI/UX; create a comprehensive white-label design system; collaborate with international teams

Team & Collaborators: Worked alongside Creative Director, PM, UI and UX designers; collaborated with Design and Development teams across various countries
Outcomes: We successfully redesigned the merchant portal, improving the overall UX. A key deliverable was the creation of a comprehensive design system, including detailed documentation, UI kits, and a Storybook for consistent implementation across teams.

I worked across various aspects of the product including data visualization, merchant disputes, documents, settings, help, and much more - creating new components and page templates. The challenge was to create a consistent visual language with a clear hierarchy. Apart from the UI work, some UX improvements were required as well.

Delivery of the Design System included creating components and documentation - UI Kits and Storybook. I collaborated with the front-end developers, providing them with details on how the components work, and behaved, reviewing them on Storybook. As a team, we established a Design System that could be scaled and easily updatable. All designs worked responsively and adhered to AA accessibility standards.
